Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ (1st century) is, in Christian faith, the eternal Son of God made man — born of the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth, a preacher across Galilee who proclaimed the Kingdom of God, crucified under Pontius Pilate, and confessed by the Church to have risen on the third day. He is not counted among the saints but is the Lord whom they follow: every mystery of the rosary meditates on a scene from his life, death, and resurrection, and every decade is prayed toward him.
