Raphael the Archangel

Saint Raphael is one of the archangels named in Scripture, appearing in the Book of Tobit, where he travels in disguise as a human guide called Azarias, drives off the demon Asmodeus that tormented Sarah, and restores old Tobit's sight — revealing himself at the end as the angel who had carried their prayers "before the glory of the Holy One." His name means "God heals," and he is venerated as patron of travellers, the sick, and those seeking a good spouse; his feast is kept on 29 September.
